If you don\u2019t have a true mission behind your money, if you\u2019re not looking for a way to create a good impact on the lives of others, you\u2019re just trying to have a lot of money and be comfortable, that\u2019s great but the truth is, it\u2019s just materialism. He didn\u2019t have a lot of wealth, he didn\u2019t have a lot of money, in fact, he was a butcher. He wasn\u2019t anybody of great financial stature like his son, but the impact he made on the community was tremendous.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEven after he died, a couple of years later, people had a park bench with his name on it to give him honor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s probably one of the most positive funerals I ever went to. People were sharing stories about how their lives were blessed by Les and his partner Ray.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFrom that point, I decided that I would start teaching people, so I quietly did that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat one guy, Les Maguire, sparked something in me. He wasn\u2019t just making money, even though he was great at that, he was teaching.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is why I\u2019m doing this podcast, because I\u2019m hoping that some of you, in some way, get inspired.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t have to do it the way I do it, you don\u2019t have to do it the way anybody else did it, I want you to do it your way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou can create legacy in so many ways, more than just you don\u2019t have to do anything big. You can simply do it by just being a great friend. I\u2019ll tell you, that guy who was a meat-cutter, that\u2019s what he was amazing at. He was a good friend, an amazing listener, very optimistic, and very upbeat, so people loved being around him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat kind of person are you becoming? That is so much more important and that\u2019s gonna have more wealth in your life than anything you do with just money.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis show has never been just about money, it\u2019s about living a rich life, about really having that abundance in your life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMore money is good, but we don\u2019t need more money. We need better people, we need good people and if you got more money, you can just express that more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRemember, money does not make you evil, it does not make you good, it only magnifies what\u2019s in your soul.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLike I said, we want 1000 people financially independent by 2030, but the truth is, I want a heck lot more than that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGood people with a lot of money create a great impact on other people\u2019s lives.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why are you doing what you\u2019re doing today?
